Hollywood singer John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen were expecting their third child. However, Chrissy suffered a miscarriage as she was diagnosed with a partial placenta abruption 20 weeks into her pregnancy. Teigen shared pictures from the hospital later and penned down a heart-wrenching post for her unborn son. Now, weeks later, Chrissy wrote an emotional 8-page long essay describing the miscarriage. On Tuesday, the Cravings author opened up about her September pregnancy loss in a post on her social media.

On Instagram, Chrissy shared pictures of her touching essay and wrote, “I didn’t know how to come back to real life so I wrote this piece for Medium with hopes that I can somehow move on but as soon as I posted it, tears flew out because it felt so....final. I don’t want to ever not remember jack.” She thanked everyone for the love, care, and support during the hard times. In the piece for Medium, Chrissy Teigen spoke about her placenta problems and explained what happened 20 weeks into her third pregnancy. She wrote, ‘I had always had placenta problems,” and continued, “I had to deliver Miles a month early because his stomach wasn’t getting enough food from my placenta. But this was my first abruption. We monitored it very closely, hoping for things to heal and stop. In bed, I bled and bled, lightly but all day, changing my own diapers every couple of hours when the blood got uncomfortable to lay in. I actually became an adult diaper expert for my own personal entertainment.”

As the Cravings author continued to explain to her well-wishers, she shared that as the bleeding became heavier and heavier, her fluid became very low. She then shared how she was told that her baby boy would not survive, despite all the blood transfusions, and she may not either. Teigen recalled and shared how it was time to say goodbye. “I cried a little at first, then went into full-blown convulsions of snot and tears, my breath not able to catch up with my own incredibly deep sadness,” and said that she can feel the pain even as she wrote down about the miscarriage. She added, “Even as I write this now, I can feel the pain all over again. … Utter and complete sadness.” Also Read: John Legend's Wife Chrissy Teigen Suffers A Miscarriage; Pens A Heart Wrenching Post Mourning The Loss Of Their Son Jack
