John Legend Opens Up On Wife Chrissy Teigen's Miscarriage; Says They Received Much Love And Support From People Who Have Experience Similar Things

Last month, All of Me singer John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen braced some hard times. They lost their unborn son due to pregnancy complications. Cookbook author Chrissy had taken to her Instagram account to pen a long post as she suffered a miscarriage. The couple had lovingly chosen the name Jack for their unborn son. Now, John in his latest interview has opened up on the pregnancy loss and revealed that lots of people sent love to them. 

To Entertainment Tonight, the singer was quoted saying, "We've heard from so many people who have gone through it too, and it's been encouraging to be getting so much love and support from so many people who have experienced similar things." John further went on to add, "Chrissy sharing what she shared has also been helpful for other people who are going through it and may go through it in the future. So thank you."

John further spoke about being optimistic as he shared, "Whenever we go through personal challenges — and I think challenges as a nation — I think we have to hold on to what makes us optimistic, what makes us hopeful. Hold on to the things that bring us joy." John and Chrissy have two kids and they make for a lovely family.

It was recently that Chrissy had penned a note dedicated to their unborn son Jack as they received his ashes. She said she was missing baby Jack dearly.
