The film has managed to collect box-office figures to the tune of $34 million approx in its opening week. Coming back to the 4 cuts, a report in Pinkvilla says, that unlike films like Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, that were allowed to release without cuts, this stripper drama has been chopped out in not one, not two but 4 chunky places. The highlight of the film remains its long-long opening scene where Jennifer gets down and dirty on the pole. Has that been left untouched, we wonder?
Meanwhile, the preps for the part were not easy. Yesterday, we shared with you details on what went into the making of the movie. Jlo reportedly took classes for Pole dancing from pole artist and trainer Johanna Sapakie.
Believe it or not, but the actress, in a bid to get into the skin of her character, also visited strip clubs to get an ‘in’ on the lifestyle, mannerisms, struggles, aspirations and lives of real-life-strippers.
