Jennifer Lopez Reveals Fiancé Alex Rodriguez Was In Tears After Learning Of Kobe Bryant's Tragic Death

World was morning the loss of NBA player Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, on Sunday in Calabasas, California. The news of his sudden tragic death has not only left his fan mourning over it, but also Hollywood and Bollywood stars are taking to social media to express grief over it. Hollywood stars Alicia Keys, Lil Nas X, Lizzo and others also paid tribute to Bryant at 2020 Grammys night. Now Kobe’s close friend JLo has revealed how she and her fiancé and Baseball player Alex Rodriguez was greatly affected by his death.

While addressing media ahead of the Sunday game, JLo reacted how she and her fiancé Alex are handling post Kobe’s tragic death. Lopez revealed, “Alex came to me with tears in his eyes, and he's like, 'You're not going to believe what happened.' He was devastated. He knew Kobe really well. They kind of came up together, entered sports around the same time, and he was just devasted. I knew Kobe and Vanessa more in passing. She further added that she thinks it's affecting everybody so much because it's just reminding us, again, how fragile life is and how we have to appreciate every single moment and how we have to love people while they're here and not wait. And how we don't get the opportunity — it can be taken away from us so easily.


Sharing a couple of pictures of Kobe with family and JLo with Kobe, she wrote a heartfelt note alongside. Her long captioned read, “Family. As I scrolled through Kobe’s feed, and Alex and I talk memories and moments we remember about him ... this is the truth that rings out the loudest ... family is what matters most. We are all feeling sadness from this loss, but all I can think of is that it is a grain of sand compared to what Vanessa must going through right now.”
