Hollywood actress Lynn Cohen also known as Lynn Harriette Kay died on Friday, aged 86. According to Lynn’s manager Josh Pultz, the veteran actress passed away in New York on February 14, 2020. Over the years, Lynn was popularly known for playing a role in the HBO series Sex and the City. Born on August 10, 1933, in Kansas City, Missouri, Lynn Cohen was known for her roles in film, television, and theatres. The actress was best known for her role as Magda the housekeeper in the series Sex and the City.
Known for her stellar performances and acting skills, Lynn Cohen marked an appearance in 13 episodes between the years 2000-2004, once again featuring in the 2008 film of the same title and it’s the sequel as well. The role Lynn played as Magda was employed as a housekeeper and nanny by Cynthia Nixon’s character Miranda Hobbes in the series. The actress also featured in the popular film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second film based on the dystopian trilogy and starred in the role of Mags.
According to IMDB, Lynn Cohen made multiple appearances in the popular TV franchise Law and Order and also featured in the main series Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. The veteran actress also appeared in several big-screen related projects and starred in Steven Spielberg’s film Munich as well playing the character of Golda Meir.
Apart from that, the actress also featured in 2018 Amazon Prime series Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and played the role of Bubbabosia in it. Lynn Cohen also starred in the film After Class directed by Daniel Schechter, a 2019 film.Also Read:
