I was like, ‘What?!’ He showed me a tweet, it was like, ‘Daniel Radcliffe becomes first famous person to contract coronavirus,’ “I was like, what?”

When asked about what led to the rumour, Daniel, “I think it’s just because I look ill all the time, so you can believably say it about me cause I’m very pale.”

The news was spread by a fake BBC News’ Twitter account. The tweet read, “BREAKING: Daniel Radcliffe tests positive for coronavirus. The actor is said to be the first famous person to be publicly confirmed." They managed to fool hundreds of Twitter users, including New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman and Politico editorial director Blake Hounshell.  (ALSO READ: Daniel Radcliffe Falls Victim To Coronavirus; Harry Potter Star Tests Positive?
