This was an easy one! Globes jury unanimously went for the year's stellar performer, Phoenix. The Joker actor was up against Adam Driver, Christian Bale, Antonio Banderas, and Jonathan Pryce for the top prize. Phoenix was beeped out twice on stage. He thanked director Todd Phillips saying, "I'm such a pain in the a**, I can't believe you put up with me." A committed began, the actor thanked the Globes for the plant-based spread laid out for dinner.

The award season down West has officially kick-started with the 77th annual Golden Globes, which is happening right now in Los Angeles.
