Just recently, another FRIENDS star and Chandler Bing’s high school friend, Ross Geller aka David Schwimmer penned down a very deep and intense note and also stepped out on the streets to take part in the protest ‘Black Lives Matter’ along with his ex-wife Zoe Buckman, standing in solidarity for George Floyd death. This time Matthew Perry was seen sharing a post on ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement and he attached it with a note and a black image, telling us the significance and the depth of the movement.
In the note, he shared on his Instagram account, Matt wrote that despite having all the white privilege, he wants to learn how to be a better ally for every Black person affected by systemic racism. He also mentioned that he intends to take action to support one's statements or opinions. His note read, “Though I am from Canada, I am a white man living in America, which means I am privileged. I don’t know how to fix everything that is wrong, but I want to learn how to be a better ally for every Black person affected by systemic racism. I intend to put my money where my mouth is, but for now, allow me to say: #BlackLivesMatter.”
Meanwhile, his FRIENDS co-stars Monica Geller aka Courteney Cox, Rachel Green aka Jennifer Aniston have also shared a black image on their respective Instagram accounts, standing in solidarity for George Floyd death. Take a look at Mathew’s post.
