House of the Dragon, which is a spinoff and prequel series of HBO's hit show Game of Thrones is currently filming. Much to the fans' delight, the first set photos from House of the Dragon have surfaced online and are going viral on social media. The first photos show Emma D'Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen) and Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen) donning blonde wigs while indulging in conversation.
Though it is hard to tell anything from the photos, fans of the show just can't keep calm! For the uninitiated, House of the Dragon tells the story of the famous House 300 years before the events of the original show, and will focus on the story of the Targaryen family.
Apart from Matt Smith and Emma D'Arcy, House of the Dragon will also star The Outsider's Paddy Considine, essaying the role of King Viserys, Rhaenyra's father and Daemon's brother. Rhys Ifans will play the role of Otta Hightower, the Hand of the King and close counsellor of King Viserys, while Olivia Cooke will star as Otto's daughter, Alicent. It also stars Steve Toussaint who will play the character called The Sea Snake. Other than that, it also stars Eve Best and Sonoya Mizuno.
