Gal Gadot teamed up with director Patty Jenkins for Wonder Woman. Now this famous and successful actor-director duo is teaming up once again for a film on Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. The gorgeous Gal Gadot is soon to essay the role of the Egyptian ruler on-screen. History says that Cleopatra was the last ruler of the Ptolemaic Dynasty. The news of Gal teaming up with Patty Jenkins again was shared by the actress herself on Instagram with a long post.
Gal Gadot shared a picture of Cleopatra and celebrated International Day of The Girl. She wrote, "As you might have heard I teamed up with Patty jenkins and Leata Kalogridis to bring the story of Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, to the big screen in a way she’s never been seen before. To tell her story for the first time through women's eyes, both behind and in front of the camera. And we are especially thrilled to be announcing this on International Day of the Girl! We hope women and girls all around the world, who aspire to tell stories will never give up on their dreams and will make their voices heard, by and for other women. #cleopatra #internationaldayofthegirl."
Cleopatra was best known for her relationship with Roman emperor Julius Caesar. It remains to be seen who will essay the role of Gal's lover in the film. The film is being written by Laeta Kalogridis. It is being produced by Paramount Studio. We can't wait to see Gal dressed as Cleopatra and ruling the screens.
