The wait for Fast X has intensified as the trailer for Dom’s final ride was dropped on May 16, as the film and its crew gear up for the film’s release in theatres later this week. However, the trailer doesn’t seem to have made the impact that the Fast and Furious team was expecting. Let’s be real, the film’s crew already saw the criticism approaching them from a mile.
The film is all set to release on May 19, and Universal unveiled the final trailer for the tenth film in The Fast Saga. Check out the trailer below:
Clocking in at a whopping four and a half minutes, the final Fast X trailer looks back on the entire franchise while also teasing the beginning of the end. Well, the trailer seems to have failed to make the right impression amongst the audience as several users claimed to have “watched whole movie free before it released”.
A user even lashed out at the makers and suggest that “they should have released the whole movie on YouTube instead of such a long trailer”. The user also added that “all major action sequences are shown in two trailers of the movie” continuing, “no more excitement for the movie now”. The user concluded, “some part should have kept for the theatrical experience.”
Users showcased their displeasure over the trailer by criticising the preview. They turned creative and added a tinge of humour in the comments section. One of the user even dragged Salman Khan into the debate by calling Vin Diesel the “Salman Khan of Hollywood”.
A few comments read: “RIP Gravity 😔”, “you know what ? i smell magic 😂”, “I'm just here for the comments because they are more entertaining to look at than the trailer😂”, “Jumping and driving down dams now? This shit has got out of hand😂”.
Fast X features the return of many of the franchise's familiar faces, with Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, Daniela Melchior, and Rita Moreno also joining the cast.
