King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Elvis Presley’s only child Lisa Marie Presley has left from her heavenly abode. The musician breathed her last on Thursday after being rushed to the hospital earlier that day. If reports are to be believed, she suffered from a cardiac arrest and was taken to the hospital after the paramedics performed CPR and “determined the patient had signs of life.”
In a heartbreaking statement, her mother Priscilla Presely confirmed the news of the 54-year-old daughter’s passing. She said, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known.”
The singer had attended the Golden Globes 2023 award ceremony on Tuesday to celebrate the biopic of her father ‘Elvis’ starring Austin Butler. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she had heaped praises on the actor for his mind-blowing performance. As quoted by India.com, she had told ET, “I really didn’t know what to do with myself after I saw it. I had to take, like, five days to process it because it was so incredible and so spot on and just so authentic that, yeah, I can’t even describe what it meant.”
For the unversed, Lisa was nine-years-old when her father had passed away due to heart attack. She was a mother to four kids Riley Keough, Benjamin Keough, Harper Lockwood and Finley Lockwood. While her son passed away in 2020, due to suicide, Lisa left behind her daughters to continue her legacy.
