Titled Young Rock, the upcoming NBC series based on the life of wrestler turned actor Dwayne Johnson has finally gone on floors. The deets about the series going on floors was shared by Dwayne himself by posting picture with the series creator Nahnatchka Khan. The two are seen in a discussion holding possibly scripts in their hands. Popularly known by his wrestling ring name, The Rock the actor as well as the series creator both were seen abiding by the safety measure of maintaining distance and wearing mask due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Dwayne wrote in his Instagram post, “TV series, “YOUNG ROCK” coming soon to @NBC. Working very closely with our series creator, Nahnatchka Khan. She’s a brilliant (and very funny) creative partner who I trust with my wild life story growing up.” He also mentioned as it is a series based on his life, the duo is making sure to go through every minutest detail as the people associated with him are very much in his life even now and hence he doesn’t want to get anything wrong.
Continuing further he wrote, “We examine every word from every character because these are all real people, real family who are still in my life and those who have passed away. Gotta be authentic and get it right.”
