Avengers: Infinity War that released in 2018 completes its two years anniversary today. The film had released on April 27, 2018 and was a massive hit. Two years from its release, we have got to know something really interesting about the rescue operation in the film. Did you know that it had two different versions, one that never got used because it was too long? And plus, the unused version had Doctor Strange Benedict Cumberbatch slipping into the suit of Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr?
Since there's lockdown all over the world, people are busy having virtual watch parties. As there is a lot of free time in hand, netizens are busy tripping on Avengers series as the month also marks the anniversaries of the few MCU films. Avengers: Endgame too had released in the month of April last year. Coming back to Infinity Wars, ComicBook.com in one of the watch parties revealed that there was version 2 to the rescue operation.
Sharing a BTS picture with Benedict dressed in Iron Man suit, ComicBook.com revealed that the second version of the rescue operation was very long and hence was not used in the film. In the picture, we see Robert Downey Jr standing by Benedict's side with the green scale in the background. "So, there were other versions of this rescue. Some were just too awesome (and long) to keep. But still, one can dream... #Infinitywar #QuarantineWatchParty -SM," read the caption of this photo.
