Hollywood actor Christian Bale earned critical acclaim for his performance as Batman in the DC movies. According to the latest report, Christian Bale is in talks to return as Batman for DC. The report stated that while the actor is filming for the Marvel film Thor: Love and Thunder, he is considering coming back as Batman for DC. Bale featured in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy from 2004 to 2012 which is a reboot of the Batman film series. The actor played the role of Batman in three movies- Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises.
According to a report in Giant Freakin Robot, Christian Bale is in talks with Warner Bros. to return as the Caped Crusader for The Flash. Although it was speculated last year that Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will be appearing in the upcoming DC film, as per the report in GFR, it is likely that the makers are trying to rope in Bale as a replacement for Keaton. The report mentioned that although the makers had a deal with Keaton, the actor has recently “thrown doubt” on whether he’ll be a part of the production.
The report continued to stress that it is not confirmed yet whether Keaton is in or out, but the makers will likely be able to sign a deal with only Bale or him, not both. In the report, it was stated that it is unclear how The Dark Knight will be involved in The Flash. According to the report, the DC film The Flash is still in the production phase and has been stuck in development for a long time. As per reports, fans are expecting a lot from the director Andy Muschietti.
Meanwhile, Christian Bale will be seen essaying the character of Gorr the God Butcher in the upcoming Marvel film of the Thor franchise. The film is currently being shot in Sydney and is scheduled to release on May 22.
