Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Iron Man and Captain America rank among some of the greatest superhero movies of all time. Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and Chris Evans’ Captain America has a massive fan following worldwide, and these are arguably among two of the most important characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While we assume actors who play the roles of these superheroes must also be fans of superhero films, that’s not always the case. ‘Batman’ Christian Bale was asked to either ‘save or kill’ Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and Chris Evans’ Captain America. He isn’t a fan of superhero films, it seems!

Christian Bale is known for his brutally honest answers, and he aired his views without any filters in a throwback interview with Collider, wherein he was asked to either save or kill between characters, TV shows, movies, and more. When asked between Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad, Christian Bale chose Breaking Bad. He was then asked to ‘save or kill’ Iron Man or Captain America. His reply to this question was, “Ehhh, I don’t really care!”

Following the streak of his brutally honest answers, he then said, “Get rid of both of them,” when asked to choose between the bands Backstreet Boys and NSYNC.

In a conversation with MTV’s Happy Sad Confused, Christian Bale had confessed that he wasn’t a huge superhero film fan. He said that he hadn’t watched any of the Avengers films, and while he has heard they are good films, he is ‘quite happy just hearing they’re very good’.
