Social media is perhaps the best and the easiest way for fans to connect with their favorite celebrities and stay up to date with whatever is happening in the celebs’ lives. While most celebrities are already on social media, Avengers: Endgame star Chris Evans, who plays the superhero Captain America only recently made his debut on Instagram. His fans were overjoyed, and he gained a massive number of followers in quite a short span. Remember when Jennifer Aniston joined Insta, she literally broke the Internet? Well, within hours of Chris Evans’ debut, something similar happened, and his account was put on hold.

Chris Evans joined Instagram on May 1 and he has already gained 2.3 million followers merely in 2 days. That’s a lot! However, as soon as he joined, Chris Evans took to his Twitter handle clarifying that he hasn’t DM’ed anyone on Insta and that it must instead be someone’s photoshop work at play. He tweeted, “I haven’t DM’d anyone on IG. People are telling me the photoshop goblins are already at work.” After that, the actor’s IG account was put on hold, and it made Chris Evans question if he’s already regretting joining the social media platform. He tweeted, “Woke up to a notification saying my new IG acct got put on hold due to unusual activity. Do I already regret this???”

Chris Evans’ fans were quick to reassure him that it’s all okay now, and that he shouldn’t regret joining Instagram as they don’t want him to leave. While one fan wrote, “I thought he left instagram forever, please don't delete it,” another fan wrote, “No! Please don’t! It’s already up! I’m so happy! Please send more videos! I was looking forward for you to have your profile.”

Chris Evans joined Instagram and took part in the All In Challenge, for which he was nominated by Chris Pratt. It was for a good cause as Evans offered one lucky fan the opportunity for a virtual hangout with him and his other MCU co-stars.
