News of American artiste Britney Spears’ battle for conservatorship with her father Jamie Spears has been hitting the headlines every alternate day. The singer took everyone by shock as she revealed about abusive conservatorship that pushed her in depression and left her traumatized. Now as per reports in E! the pop singer’s lawyer had requested the court to remove Jamie Spears from the conservatorship, but the Superior Court Judge in LA has denied the request. The request was made by singer’s lawyer on June 30.

Her father Jamie Spears in 2008 was roped in as the singer co-conservator for her estate, followed by in 2020 he was joined by a wealth management firm Bessemer Trust Company. While the company urged the court to remove Jamie from the conservatorship with immediate effect and let the firm be the sole conservator for the singer, it was rejected. The rejection took place after the singer made an emotional appeal during her court hearing that took place on June 23.

The singer had revealed her father's critical behaviour towards her and she allegedly claimed how her father used to like to hurt her. After the singer made these shocking revelations, she was received support from fans and colleagues asking the singer to be set free from the conservatorship.


Meanwhile, her father’s attorney said during the hearing, “Mr. Spears is sorry to see his daughter suffering and in so much pain.
