American singer, songwriter, and dancer Britney Spears is likely to witness a new beginning the Los Angeles court might decide whether to terminate her conservatorship. The landmark hearing comes months after the court suspended Britney’s father Jamie Spears from the conservatorship that has controlled the pop singer’s life and estate for 13 years.

A recent report suggests that Jodi Montgomery, the conservator who oversees the singer’s life and medical decisions, has developed a care plan with her therapists and doctors to guide her through the end of the conservatorship and its aftermath.

It is likely that Judge Brenda Penny will dissolve the legal arrangement. Meanwhile, Britney Spears’ attorney, her parents, and the court appointees, who control the conservatorship all publicly support the termination.

The removal of Spears' father was the first phase in her legal affairs. On November 12, she enters phase two: possible termination of the conservatorship reports Variety.

It was in her mid-20s when Spears witnessed a series of sets setbacks and invited heavy media scrutiny over her sex life, personal life and parenting decisions. This saw grave repercussions and it invited paparazzi to swarm around her.

For the unversed, Spears has been working in showbiz since childhood and starred in 'The All-New Micky Mouse Club' when she was 11-year-old.

The hearing comes as a big day for those who have been supporting the #FreeBritney campaign. The previous hearing saw Britney’s fans host a rally outside the court where they sang her classic songs.

However, it is not yet known if Spears will take part in the hearing or not.
