Regé-Jean Page, who essayed the role of the Duke of Hastings in Netflix's popular show 'Bridgerton' has been in the news lately for many reasons. The news of the actor's exit from the second season of the show created a huge buzz and his fans were left heartbroken. Regé-Jean Page received a lot of love for his performance in the show. Adjoa Andoh, who portrayed Lady Danbury recently opened up about Regé-Jean Page's exit from the show and shared her experience working with the actor.
While speaking to E!, Andoh explained that his exit made sense considering the acr of his character had reached its conclusion. The actress said, "We're following the overriding framework of Julia Quinn's beautiful novels. There are eight Bridgerton children: one down, seven to go."
She was all praises for her co-star. She called him a 'lovely man' and said, "he'll be my friend for life." She further revealed that they shared a love for punk and even admitted that he will be missed from the show. "We all love Regé and we're all going to miss Regé but it's not a huge surprise," she added.
After it was revealed that he is no longer a part of the show, he took to his Instagram and penned a sweet note. Calling it a ride of a life time, he added, "It’s been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be your Duke. Joining this family - not just on screen, but off screen too. Our incredibly creative and generous cast, crew, outstanding fans - it’s all been beyond anything I could have imagined. The love is real and will just keep growing."
