When the news of her death was confirmed by Jeff Witjas, White’s longtime agent and friend, the reason for her death was not out. Now as per reports in TMZ, the death certificate of the actress revealed the reason for her death. The beloved Golden Girls suffered a stroke six days before her death. She passed away at her home located in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles.
The report stated she passed away due to a cerebrovascular accident, a medical term used to describe stroke, as mentioned by LA County death certificate. The Associated Press got their hands on the death certificate of the actress. The cause of her death was confirmed by her doctor. The Mary Tyler Moore Show star was cremated and her remains were handed over to Glenn Kaplan. Glenn received her remains on Friday; he was the man in charge of the late actress-comedian’s advanced health care directive.
The death certificate carried her legal name, Betty Marion Ludden, she had her husband Allen Ludden’s surname following her name after she tied the knot in 1963, and continued with it till his death in 1981.
She had entertained the audience with acting prowess, excellent comic timing for more than 6 decades. She passed away just three weeks ahead of her 100th birthday.
