The second day of the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) was held on Sunday. The event was held over two days- April 10 and April 11. It saw presenters announcing the awards in a virtual event that took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Netflix film The White Tiger actor Adarsh Gourav lost ‘Best Actor’ honour to Anthony Hopkins, while Nomadland won big. The White Tiger star Adarsh Gourav and director Ramin Bahrani, who was nominated for the BAFTA Awards 2021 did not win.
On Day 2 of the BAFTA Awards, the film Nomadland that earned six nominations bagged four awards in Best Film, Best Actress, and other categories. The Father, Rocks, Promising Young Woman, Soul, were among the other top winners on the second day.

Meanwhile, on the second day, the winners of 17 categories out of 25 receiving the BAFTA Awards 2021 were announced. The first day saw films Ma Rainey’s Black Botton, Tenet, and Sound of Metal becoming favourites. Overall, at the British Academy Film Awards, Rainey’s Black Botton, Tenet, Sound of Metal, Nomadland, Rocks, The Father were among the top winners. Also Read:
