While the world is practicing self-quarantine and social distancing, some A-list singers and performers came together-albeit digitally- for an unforgettable concert. In a bid to raise money for charities, Sir Elton John hosted iHeart Living Room coronavirus benefit concert and was joined digitally by A-list singers such as Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish, and the legendary boy band Backstreet Boys. They performed songs from the comfort of their living rooms and home studios, and the videos are such a treat for fans.
In the video shared by FOX Tv, we can see Sir John Elton sing Lizzo’s track Juice, while talking to her via video chat. Grammy award winner Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell sang an acoustic version of her hit track ‘Bad Guy’ while chilling on the couch. Foo Fighter’s David Grohl sang the song My Hero and dedicated it to all the people on the frontlines working to get us through this pandemic. Apart from this, the concert also brought a wave of nostalgia as the popular boy band Backstreet Boys reunited in a video chat from their own homes, and sang a rendition of one of their most popular songs ‘I Want It That Way’.
Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong’s acoustic rendition of Boulevard of Broken Dreams was mind-blowing. Apart from these artists, Camila Cabello-Shawn Mendes, who are self-isolating together, sand My Oh My. Alicia Keys, Sam Smith, Mariah Carey also joined in the epic concert.
