American actress Amber Heard’s life has been left in shambles after she made waves during the widely covered defamation trial which was initiated by her ex-husband and ace Hollywood actor Johnny Depp. The trial seemingly hit her hard, to the point that she was being cancelled and called out by netizens which ultimately led to filmmakers reconsidering their choices for casting Amber Heard. Amid all the backlash and hatred, the actress decided to move her base elsewhere. Amber Heard has recently confirmed her relocation to Spain.
However, a new video excerpt from the interview has generated widespread social media attention. The clip sees Amber Heard engaged in a conversation with reporters stationed outside her Madrid home.
The same source suggests that Heard has recently moved to Madrid with her two-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige.
During the press interaction, a reporter inquired about Heard’s experience in her new city. Heard reacts to the question in Spanish, she shares her thoughts on her life in Madrid. Heard says, "I love Spain so much."
In addition, when another reporter asks Ms Heard about her plans in the capital city, she responds, "Yes, I hope so. Yes, yes, I love living here." Before taking her leave from the conference, Ms Heard shares an additional detail by mentioning her involvement in ongoing film projects.
Incidentally, despite the backlash and netizen’s demand to kick her out, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom director James Wan and the rest of the team continued to work with her.
Notably, the media personnel also inquired if she plans to attend the Cannes Film Festival, where her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, made a high-profile red-carpet appearance.
Heard responded to the question by simply stating, "I move on. That's just life."
"She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise," a source told The Daily Mail earlier this month. "I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right for the right project," they said.
Depp and Heard settled their defamation case in December 2022.
