The WWE star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson took us on an adventurous ride with Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas, Jack Black and Karen Gillan with the Jumanji: The Next Level in December 2019. The film which gained a lot of popularity earned well at the box-office. However, the actor is all set for another project, no we are not talking about Black Admas but the actor will be seen reuniting with his Jungle Cruise co-star Emily Blunt. Yes, the Fast And Furious star will be reuniting for the movie adaptation of the 1990’s comedy Ball and Chain with A Quiet Place actress.

According to a report in Deadline, the film will be written by Emily V Gordon and talking about the project, the film is being described as a superhero story meets Mr and Mrs Smith, where a couple struggling in their marriage are equipped with superpowers. However, their powers can only work when they keep their differences aside and stay together. It is also reported that Dwayne Johnson, Dany, and Hiram Garcia will produce the movie under Seven Bucks banner, along with Kevin Misher and Emily Blunt. 

Meanwhile, their film Jungle Cruise has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak and hence, the film will now have a release in July 2021.


Speaking about its digital release, then the portal mentions the makers may zero down on Netflix, however, they are bidding for several other studios. Meanwhile, Emily Blunt starrer A Quiet Place Part II is supposed to release this year September. On the other hand, The Rock is prepping up for one of the badass characters Black Adams which is thearch-nemesis of Shazam in the DC universe.
