Adele Admits She Consumed Alcohol To Deal With 'Boring' People, Confesses: 'I Would Drink To Make Other People Interesting!'

Adele, 33, in a discussion with Nikki de Jagger - who is popularly known as Nikki Tutorials spoke about her drinking habits as she underwent a makeup transformation. 

The English singer-songwriter revealed that she used to drink to make other people interesting at parties. “I would normally drink to make other people interesting, rather than to spice myself up!” Adele confessed while she underwent the transformation.

She further added, “people at parties are bloody boring!”

She went on to share that she misses being able to go to the supermarket out of fear she would be recognised. Adele said: “Because I don't like being photographed and things like that, the planning that goes into it is f***ing exhausting.”

Ask Adele what has kept her grounded to which she quipped, “Oh my son, don't you worry! And my two f***ing new puppies.” 

Adele maintained that she never used to have access to her social media before the pandemic. The singer was given access when she wanted to share memes with her friends. However, she had the privilege taken away from her after posting just one picture, reported Daily Mail.

In a conversation with Winfrey that aired as part of a two-hour special on Sunday (14 November) in the US on CBS, Adele was asked about her recent weight loss. She mentioned that her divorce was a catalyst to her weight loss.  

Adele said she was "embarrassed" by her divorce and added that she felt like she had "disrespected" the idea of marriage when she separated from her husband, Simon Konecki, in 2018.
