Malaika Arora And Arjun Kapoor To Get Married On April 19, But What Will The Bride Wear?

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor’s wedding dates were revealed by us and we can’t keep calm! While the relationship was kept under wraps for very long, the wedding news does not come as a surprise to us. It is rumoured that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are set to attend the wedding to be held on April 19, amongst other major celebrity guests. While we can’t wait to get a glimpse of the who’s who of Bollywood at the wedding, we’re even more excited to see what the gorgeous bride-to-be will wear. Will it be a gown a la her wedding to Arbaaz Khan? Or will she go for a traditional desi bride look?

While rumours are abuzz that the couple will opt for a church wedding, following family traditions, we have our fingers crossed on an over the top Punjabi celebration too (remember Sonam Kapoor’s sangeet?).


For her first wedding to Arbaaz Khan in 1998, Malaika Arora had opted for a  stunning off-shoulder gown and veil designed by her friend Wendell Rodricks. With the ‘90s being in vogue again, we can’t help but wonder if she will opt for a similar silhouette, or play with tradition and go for a summery white lehenga like Sonam Kapoor did at her sangeet ceremony.


Given that the Kapoors are big on tradition (remember Sonam went all-red for her nuptials?) would Malaika go the traditional route like Priyanka Chopra in an all-red lehenga designed by the man of the moment - Sabyasachi?
