It was the first time Kareena Kapoor Khan was appearing on television as a judge of a reality show. ZEE TV’s Dance India Dance is the show Kareena chose and tried to keep it as chic as possible in her avatars through the show.
There was heavy use of pop colours, varied drapes and also some power-dressing in Bebo’s looks. Kareena also played around with her hairdo, especially after chopping her tresses for Angrezi Medium. While there were some outfits, which I thought were not very impressive, there were a lot of times when Kareena stumped us.
So, here’s my ranking for Kareena Kapoor Khan’s style file on Dance India Dance:
1. BLUSHING IN PINK- Kareena totally rocked this desi look in the metallic Manish Malhotra saree
2. BLUE GLITTERS- This attempt was different, striking and most of all extremely classy. Kareena won my heart with this one.

3. OH MY SUNSHINE!- This uber cool and chic yellow drape, did become a topic of discussion for the way Kareena wore the waist belt, but my only point is she rocked the look either way!
4.CRUSHING ON THE CRUSHED LEHENGA- When Kareena stepped out wearing this Nazm-e-Itrh outfit, the number of people ‘crushing’ on her increased by leaps and bounds.
5. ENVY THE GREEN- The bondage gown by Tadashi Shoji in emerald green screamt class and elegance all the way.
6. SHIMMER-SHIMMER- Kareena wore this shimmery gown for the promo shoot of the show, and I think it was the perfect start to a fashionable journey.
7. TANGERINE DELIGHT- This Amur official creation made Bebo look fresh and radiant. Loved her hair and make-up in this look.
8. CUT IT OUT- Kareena knows how to carry an outfit with suave and this one here just sets the example right.
9. PRINCESS IN TOWN- The Yousef Al Jasmi gown made Bebo look so royal and the serpent choker added the required drama.
10.POWERFUL POWER-DRESSING- The black pantsuit missed a sleeve, it may look odd in one go but another look and you will feel Kareena fared well in this Nikhil Thampi outfit.
11.ORANGE LOVE- The bright bondage dress was a smart pick but nothing extra ordinary about it.
12. BLACK BOHO- Kareena tried something different with this one. Though I liked her accessory and hair, but may be the black outfit by Silvia Tcherassi could have been better.
13. BLUE METAL- Prabal Gurung gave a spin to a solid blue gown by adding a metallic sleeve to it, and Bebo carried it well, however, it’s not something which really pleased me a lot.
14.MONOCHROME DRAPE- I was not very happy with this look, especially because I felt there was not much effort put in.
15.THE LEAFY SALAD- This ranks lowest on the list because I felt Kareena was totally off the mark with the outfit here.
So, this was my ranking for Kareena Kapoor Khan's 15 looks in 15 episodes of Dance India Dance. Overall, I feel Kareena did a great job with her styling and I would love to see the actress stun more on small screen with her swag.
