Kangana Ranaut is a force to be taken seriously! Known for her ‘no hold barred’ attitude, the woman is also one of the most fashionable actresses around. Often referred to as the ‘fashion chameleon’, a tag that fits her perfectly considering how she makes heads turn anywhere she makes an appearance.

It's no surprise that Kangana is often spotted in a saree, she has openly spoken about how the Indian outfit makes her feel more feminine and being introduced to the saree later in life, she has taken it upon herself to change your mind about the saree. But if you’ve been keeping track you’ll notice that her current fashion is very reminiscent of Indian royalty or more specifically the late Maharani Gayatri Devi. You know the queen of Bollywood fashion has been inspired by the literal queen! With similar looks Kangana unabashadley showed the world that monotone sarees have made their comeback. Also, do you need more proof of Kangana’s love for Gayatri Devi? One of her more recent ode to the late queen was the mint green stunner she wore on her recent trip to the airport. You could easily mistake Kangana for the Jaipur Royal in her pink saree which has an  unmistakable Gayarti Devi vibe.

2. Nothing says royal like pearls!

Kangana loves her pearls! For one of her appearances at Cannes FIlm Festival she wore a black saree with a beautiful pearl choker that reminded us of the subtle class of Gayatri Devi. The pearls-and-saree combination has among others been Kangana’s go-to for a while now, and as always we’re floored by her elegance!

The silk saree has never looked more ethereal! Kangana has made it very clear that she has a soft spot for the textile, she’s not only worn it to weddings and events, but the silk saree has made it to one of her airport looks too.
