You Wore WHAT!?
In today's Bollywood, marketing a film well is half the
battle won. And the makers of Badrinath Ki Dulhania are going bananas doing so.
Our media is flooded with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan being cutesy and
buddy-buddy. But it's the subtle way that the team is portraying them as a
couple that's so interesting. At most of their promotional events, Alia and
Varun have stuck to wearing the same colour. Just like how your mother dressed
you and your sibling in the same colours growing up. Only not so much. Check it
out.

In the Pink City, Jaipur, Alia an Varun were decked out in
pink. Hmmm... I wonder what prompted the choice of colour. Alia wore a dreamy
ensemble by Anita Dongre and Varun matched her with a light pink shirt and pink
details on the collar and jacket bottom. Also don't miss the pink camels.

The two had eyes only for each other in white tops while
they came back to Mumbai from Jaipur.

They also picked white while performing at the Kala Ghoda
Arts Festival. Varun went casual in a kurta by Péro and jeans by Forever 21
while Alia was a little more dressed up in Anita Dongre. They made a handsome
pair - him all forearms and her all dainty. They played right into Bollywood's
stereotypes.

It was an all black look for Varun and Alia while attending
the Mirchi Music Awards. Varun was in Kunal Rawal and Alia chose Manish
Malhotra. The desi ensembles were very stylish and the black colour added
oomph.

The two were feeling the blues while in Mumbai. Varun's
paisley shirt by Scotch & Soda went perfectly well with Alia's Lovebirds
dress. The neckline, obviously, was the most interesting part of the dress but
I feel like the volume overwhelmed her a little.

At the song launch of Tamma Tamma Again, the two pulled off
gold like bosses. Alia wore Ritu Kumar and Varun was in Rohit Gandhi and Rahul
Khanna and Asa Kazingmei. Given the gold hue of their clothing, it was not an
easy look to carry but Alia and Varun went about their day like it was NBD.

While at India Gate, the co-stars were not in full-on
coordinating mode but Alia's blue pants by Nupur Kanoi matched Varun's custom
Iconic jacket and Selected India jeans.

Even while posing for Filmfare, Varun and Alia were coordinated.
The large floral motif on Varun's jacket was a perfect match for the tiny
flowers on the bustier that Alia wore.
