Bollywood went to town attending a whole bunch of events around... well... town and this is what they wore.
At an event, Ranveer Singh expressed his love for Mickey Mouse and put his face on his shirt. Honestly, Mickey Mouse should send Ranveer a thank you tweet.
Ranveer had Jacqueline Fernandez for company in an unfinished top. Like, halfway through stitching the top, the tailor was like, "OMG! New Project Runway episode! I'll get done with this top later." And then he got sucked into the politics of dressmaking and almost missed his deadline and had to put this together last minute.
Sonam Kapoor showed up for the trailer launch of her film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Now, the film is about royalty and all things sanskari so keeping that in mind, Sonam chose a traditional look by Anamika Khanna complete with a maang tikka. We've seen similar looks on her before so I'm not particularly screaming in delight.
Salman Khan couldn't have been bothered by the royal, sanskari feel of film and stuck to wearing jeans and a shirt.
Kangana Ranaut launched a fashion line designed by her and I would think that she would have chosen something a little more memorable to wear to such an event. It's a basic dress with a belt and heels. Obviously, her ensemble is part of the collection but the line has much better looks to choose from. I mean we've seen her looking far more stylish at airports. So this one was a little blah.
Richa Chadda and her stylist are doing the right thing by keeping her looks fuss-free. Let's hope their good streak continues.
