The dress had us in a confusing mess at first glance, but as she made her way through the hotel stairs the details started popping up. The Peter Dundas couture gown featured a peek-a-boo thigh slight and a plunging neckline, Deepika’s favoured structure.
The belt with an over the top bow and the long train that went on for ages! This outfit definitely overtook her extravagant Ashi Studio pink ruffle gown from last year. But as predicted, we expected nothing less from the coming together of Peter and Deepika.
Her super-high ponytail was the added extravaganza the dress needed. Keeping with the monochrome theme, she was dripping in diamonds. Her makeup was kept fairly minimal with an orange nude lip. Also, can we have a moment of silence in respect for that bewitchingly sharp cat eye moment?
With Deepika, Kangana Ranaut and Hina Khan individually setting the Cannes red carpet on fire, we can’t wait to see the next batch of Bollywood beauties, who are bound to have us speechless all over again!
