Cannes Film Festival is one such affair which most of the fashion buffs look forward to. From Bollywood, actresses like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, walk down the red carpet every year at the French Riviera. More than the films showcased at the festival, what becomes the talk of the town is these actress’ red carpet avatars.

This one’s related to the same. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Deepika Padukone has decided on the designer whose work she will be donning at the red carpet. Reportedly, it’s Peter Dundas, who will design one of the looks for the diva. Peter Dundas worked as the Head Designer at Roberto Cavalli after Cavalli retired. He worked one season alone but then left the brand to start one of his own. And Dippy is said to wear the same to the Cannes. Peter Dundas is known for his sexy silhouettes and has designed for celebs like Oprah Winfrey, Ellie Goulding, Michelle Obama, Olivia Wilde and more.

Taking about Deepika’s look last year at Cannes, her hot pink ruffled number by Ashi Studio made heads turn as the actress carried off the bold look with much ease and oomph! Her other red carpet look where Deepika wore a sheer white mermaid fit number by Zuhair Murad was also a slayer. However, her day looks were not really impressive. We hope that this year, Deepika, who BTW will walk as Mrs Deepika Padukone this year, exhibits some real killer styles, colours and silhouettes.
