Ayesha Nair gets all warm and fuzzy seeing Bollywood’s famous parents and their equally famous children walk the ramp for a good cause
Shabana Azmi held her annual fashion show in support of Mijwan Welfare Society that was founded by her father, poet Kaifi Azmi. This year Shabana got the famous parent-child duos of Bollywood to walk the ramp in Manish Malhotra creations.
Amitabh Bachchan walked the catwalk with daughter Shweta. Amitabh manages to look good in anything he wears and theres a grace he brings especially when hes in Indian attire. Shweta looked so statuesque, you could easily mistake her for a model.
Abhishek accompanied Jaya Bachchan on the ramp. Abhishek rocked the detailing on his bandhgala but I just wish his pants were not jodhpurs but a fitted pair.
Ethereal is the only word I can think of to describe Sonam Kapoor. Her look had a dreamy quality to it and, of course, Sonam owned it. Dad Anil Kapoor was in black to Sonams white. The two sweetly complemented each other by wearing a white rose.
Where Sonam and Anil stuck to basic colours, Shatrughan and Sonakshi Sinha went colourful. Sonakshi looked lovely and the pink really suited her.
Javed and Farhan Akhtar showed us how dapper is done. Where Abhisheks jodhpurs were distracting, Farhans went very well with his bandhgala jacket.
