What do Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna and Sara Ali Khan have in common? Apart from the impeccable style they flaunt on the red carpet, Bollywood’s leading ladies are often spotted around Mumbai while running errands carrying the signature tote bag by French luxury brand Goyard. With its famous ‘Y’ print with piled dots, neither the brand nor the bag are newcomers, in fact, the brand has been serving royals and elites for over a century.

Available in an array of colours ranging from staples such as black and blue to bright purples and pinks, these bags are currently not available in India and are priced at over USD 1,000 (Rs. 71,000++). Apart from the price tag, what makes these bags highly covetable is that they are sold only in a handful of locations across the United States and the brand is known to never promote these bags. But the final clincher, we reckon, at least for our leading ladies, appears to be that the St Louis totes are lightweight and highly customisable. So even though Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Janhvi Kapoor have all been spotted carrying the same bag, each could have customised it with their initials, or adding straps in their favourite colour.
