Farhan Akhtar was the first choice to play the second lead in Shah Rukh Khan's Raaes. However, just a few weeks before the shooting began, the actor walked out of the project. After a lot of names coming up the role finally went to Nawazuddin Siddiqui. There was always a mystery as to why Farhan didn't want to do the film. At a recent press meet for his upcoming film Wazir, Farhan gave out the real reason.
"I didn't want to play a cop once again right after Wazir. Somehow Wazir and Raees' shooting dates were right one after the other. It's not that I don't want to do cop roles, it's just that I didn't want two back-to-back cop roles," informed Farhan.
Apart from the promotional activities of Wazir, the actor is now busy with the shoot of his next film Rock On 2!!
