Recently, there were trade reports saying the Dilwale-Bajirao Mastani clash is not between Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, but between Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh. (Both the films are releasing on the same date, December 18).
When asked about it at an event yesterday, Varun said, "When you are playing a match against someone on a field, it's not a personal clash. It's not like you want to kill that person. The same logic applies here."
Former captain of Indian football, Baichung Bhutia, who was also present at the event, came into support the actor. "If both movies are good, people will watch both," he said.
In a funny vein, Varun added: "Baichung has said he will watch Dilwale. So, I am trusting him on that."
