Sonam Kapoor stands by Shah Rukh and Aamir in the ‘Intolerance Controversy’

Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan received a lot of flak last year for their statements on the rising intolerance in India. Since then, all actors have been asked about their views on the issue at almost every press conference they attend.

Well, considering the brickbats that SRK and Aamir received after speaking their hearts out, many actors refrain from commenting on the topic. But Sonam Kapoor isn’t one of them. On the contrary, she took a stand and stood by what the two Khans had said.

 

“I think Shah Rukh or Aamir will be afraid to say or talk about things because of the negative reactions. We should be supportive of people who have opinions – good, bad or ugly. Everyone should have a right to speak,” she said.
