Zero Song, Mere Naam Tu: Shah Rukh Khan & Anushka Sharma's Romantic Colour Play Set On A Melodious Tune

The makers of Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif have released the first song of film titled Mere Naam Tu. On the occasion of romance king’s birthday, the makers had unveiled the trailer of the much-awaited film.

Featured on SRK and Anushka, the 2-minute-long song sees the latter sitting on a wheelchair, while King Khan takes her to the land of love and colours. The song is crooned by Abhay Jodhapurkar, while music is composed by the renowned Ajay-Atul and the lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil. Check out the song below:

Do not forget to see how SRK doesn’t hold back from doing his signature pose in the song. To talk about the trailer, Katrina is seen playing a superstar, who is battling with alcoholism, while Anushka is playing a role of a physically challenged person, who is stuck to a wheelchair and SRK plays a role of a dwarf- something he is doing for the first time in his career.

Soon after the trailer released, the film got embroiled in a controversy where Manjinder Singh Sirsa, General Secretary of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) filed a complaint against SRK and Aanand L Rai for hurting Sikh sentiments. Sirsa's complaint filed with the SHO, North Avenue in New Delhi reads as follows:

"It is submitted that I being the General Secretary of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, have received number of complaints from the Sikh Sangat for hurting the sentiments of Sikhs by movie Zero directed by Mr Aanand L Rai. In the movie, film actor Shahrukh Khan has been shown wearing “Gatra Kirpan” (Article of Sikh Faith) and in their movie promo which has created an outrage among Sikh community worldwide. As per the Sikh rehat maryada only Amritdhari Sikh person can wear Gatra Kirpan."
