In July 2019, Dangal fame Zaira Wasim took everyone by surprise when she decided to quit the showbiz world for good. Wasim's announcement on her 'disassociation' from the field of acting, saying she was not happy with the line of work as it interfered with her faith and religion, created quite a stir in the media. After all this time, she now uses her social media accounts to share Quran verses, humanity quotes and nature photos. She even keeps sharing her views that are of national concern but has deleted all her previous photos from the photo-sharing app. And well, she wants a similar thing from her fan clubs as well. The former actor took to her Instagram account and shared a note, requesting her fans to take down all the pictures from their account.
Even though she can't take it down from the internet, she hopes the same from her fan pages that are across social media as she is starting a new chapter in her life. In her note, she first thanked all her fans and followers for showering her with love, kindness and support. She then asked for a little favour from them where she wrote, "I request you to please take down my pictures from your accounts and ask other fan pages to do the same. It’s obviously impossible to get them off the internet but the least I can do is request your pages not to continue sharing them. I hope you could help and support me through this just like you’ve supported me through everything."
She further added, "I’m trying to start a new chapter in my life and I could really benefit from your cooperation - (like a lot)"
Meanwhile, Zaira Wasim was last seen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink where she played Aisha – a daughter to Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar. The film was released in October 2019 and was loved by all emotionally, but did not fare well at the box office.
