Contrary to earlier reports, sources have clarified that Yami Gautam's film Article 370 has not been banned in Gulf countries. The sources added that the film is currently awaiting certification in certain Gulf nations. Previously, a statement from the film's public relations team had asserted that 'Article 370' was banned in Gulf countries. The high-energy political drama, featuring Yami Gautam and directed by National Award-winner Aditya Suhas Jambhale, is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. 'Article 370' was released in theaters on February 23. Addressing the film's reception, Yami Gautam expressed confidence in its appeal to the audience. Despite initial concerns that such films might not resonate with viewers, the actor revealed that the cast and makers had full faith in the film's success. Within the film, Yami portrays the character of Zooni Haksar, an intelligence officer. The narrative unfolds against the scenic backdrop of Jammu and Kashmir, delving into the significant events surrounding the revocation of Article 370, which granted special status to the former state. This historical development occurred on August 5, 2019, when the Union Government decided to revoke Article 370.




Based on recent reports, Article 370 is reported to have garnered a net collection of Rs 9.50 crore on February 25. This marks the highest single-day collection for the film since its theatrical release. The cumulative three-day total now reaches Rs 22.80 crore net at the domestic box office.

Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the movie features pivotal roles played by Priyamani, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar.
