The Cricket World Cup 2019 concluded yesterday as England won in the final against New Zealand in a nail-biting match.  The match ended in the most dramatic way possible in a tie and the tie-breaking Super Over was once again a tie. While both the teams were equally deserving and fought till the very end, England eventually won the World Cup in a very thrilling match thereby defeating New Zealand.

England chased a score of 241-runs that was set by New Zealand and ended up in a tie. In the Super Over, both the teams scored 15 runs each but since England had a higher boundary count, it was declared the winner of the match. As soon as the match ended, several Bollywood celebrities reacted to the Final and poured in congratulatory messages for the winning team.  Right from Varun Dhawan to Karan Johar, here’s what the B-Town celebs had to say about England’s victory.

This was England’s first time winning the World Cup and was honestly an incredible match that kept us glued to the edge of our seats! The Indian team was out of the World Cup Race in the semi- finale against New Zealand by a small margin. The Indian team played quite well throughout the course and received a lot of praise and love from the fans. A lot of Bollywood celebs such as Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta etc. had also shared their opinions on India’s defeat against New Zealand earlier.
