Before Baaghi 3 hit the big screens on March 6, we had posed a question as to whether the film will click or not, considering the recent outbreak of Coronavirus in India. And surprisingly, the health scare hasn’t really dampened the business of the film.
If the current business of the movie is to go by, then Baaghi 3 has minted around 75 crore nett at domestic box-office in just a span of 5 days, which is quite good considering the current scenario in India.
Does it indicate that the movie-going audience is not affected by the ongoing situation in our country wherein the dreaded Coronavirus has started spreading slow and steady?
Meanwhile, producer Reliance Entertainment of films like Sooryavanshi and 83 is having discussions behind closed doors as to whether to release the said films on their pre-decided dates of March 27 and April 10 respectively, or reschedule them owing to the outbreak.
We reproduce the interview we did with Reliance Entertainment Group CEO, Shibashish Sarkar.
