Shraddha Kapoor spends a whopping three-and-a-hour hours prepping her face, before she steps in front of the cameras these days. If you are wondering why, we can tell you that the actress is leaving no stone unturned in her attempt to convincingly portray Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar in the upcoming biopic, Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai.

The first look of the film was launched yesterday and Shraddha’s intense look became the hot topic of discussion.

Shraddha plays Haseena, who was nicknamed the ‘Godmother of Nagpada’, and the film chronicles her between the ages of 17 and 40.

To play an older Haseena, Shraddha is wearing facial prosthetics and putting them on is a long and tedious process.

So, Shraddha spends some three-and-a-half hours, putting the prosthetics on before shooting starts everyday.

Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and also stars Shraddha’s brother Siddhant as Dawood Ibrahim.

Shraddha arrives on set at 5.30 am in the morning and spends the next few hours getting ready to face the cameras at 9. Though the process is tiring, we are told that not once has Shraddha complained about it or lost her patience.

Haseena, who was said to be the most tailed member of Dawood's family, passed away after a cardiac arrest in July 2014. She was survived by her three children, two daughters and a son. She reportedly left behind assets valued at Rs 5000 crore.
