If you have ever spotted Kim Sharma driving,
getting off or boarding her luxurious SUV, then do know that the Range Rover
doesn’t belong to her.
Well yes, that’s the latest about the hot actress. A
Rajasthan-based businessman, Dilip Kumar, has been trying to get the Mumbai
police to take action against Kim for illegally using his SUV in his absence
and refusing to give it back.
According to a report in Mid-day, the complaint was
registered by Dilip Kumar in September 2017, however, instead of Kim, her
estranged husband, Ali Punjani was named mistakenly as the accused. Dilip Kumar
said he didn't realise earlier that Kim’s name had not been mentioned in the
complaint as he cannot read Marathi that well.
Kim Sharma
Post which, the businessman has been repeatedly following
up with cops to change the name of the accused to Kim Sharma’s. And now, he has
submitted a formal complaint asking about the same.
Reportedly, as Kumar does not have a residence in Mumbai,
he had asked Sharma and Punjani to keep his Range Rover at their Khar residence
in good faith. He later found out that Kim had been using his car and moreover,
refusing to return it.
According to police sources, Kim has said that her
estranged husband, Punjani gave her the car, so why should she hand it over to
Kumar.
Kim Sharma Refuses To Return A Range Rover
Meanwhile, Senior police inspector of Khar police
station, Ramchandra Jadhav told the daily that although a complaint has been
registered against Ali Punjani, yet if the businessman has now filed a fresh
complaint at the police station regarding the change of the accused name to Kim
Sharma, they would look into the matter and investigate accordingly.
However, Kumar told the daily that cops have neither
changed the name nor have they gone ahead with the investigation so far. He
added that he tried to speak to Sharma too, but to no avail.
We would love to have Kim’s quote on this controversy,
which being a well-known Bollywood celebrity, she could have easily
avoided.
