Many stars are moving from the big screen to the small screen but not Bipasha Basu. This girl's got a different plan, alright.
The actress is jumping onto the online bandwagon. Bipasha will feature in a 12-part online mini-series titled The Clients. And who's helming it? Rohan Sippy, who previously directed her in Dum Maaro Dum.
Confirming this, Rohan told SpotboyE.com, "It's a fabulous opportunity to direct a show for the web. As a filmmaker, it's liberating that the content isn't subjected to the stringent censorship that other films face these days."
Elaborating on the show, he said, "It's about this vibrant woman who gets the job done by using her intellect, sharpness and sometimes even her body. She's basically a person you go to if you don't want to go to the cops or the lawyers. It's a dark drama with elements of thriller and I'm excited to have Bipasha on board."
The series is bankrolled by Eros International and will premiere on their digital platform Eros Now. "We should be online before year-end," he concluded.
