In 2015, Alia Bhatt made headlines when she walked out of the film. The actress made an abrupt exit from Homi Adjania's Raabta, citing date issues. Back then, the source close to Alia’s exit had revealed, “The film has been in pre-production for four months. Homi has been working tirelessly on the script and finally locked it in March. Raabta was to go on floors in May, but now Alia has opted out. Also, she doesn’t have dates to spare. She has decided to go ahead with Shuddhi which is her mentor’s production and will reunite her with her Student of the Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania co-star, Varun Dhawan."
Well, Alia move left Raabta lead actor furious following which he had expressed his anger through a cryptic tweet. On June 2, 2015, he had tweeted, “It's funny how people try to sabotage other's project 4seemingly personal gains. These frivolous stories u do make 4a better script than urs”
