Kangana Ranaut who made her big Bollywood debut with Gangster is now someone who speaks her mind and is not one to mince words when it comes to putting forth her opinions on social media or during media interactions. After Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic demise, Kangana reignited the debate over nepotism and outsiders vs insiders debate on social media and continuously slammed many B-town personalities especially star kids. She even criticized Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt on many instances. However, amidst all this, we recently stumbled upon an old video of Kangana where, during her award acceptance speech, she is seen giving full credits to Mahesh Bhatt and his brother Mukesh Bhatt for making her an actress.

In that throwback video, Kangana also said that because of them, she is receiving so much respect and dignity in the industry. She also thanked Anurag Basu who directed Gangster. The video was shared by an Instagram account named WE LOVE CONGRESS. If one may recall, earlier, in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging website, Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel accused Mahesh of throwing 'chappal' at a 19-year-old Kangana during the screening of Woh Lamhe in 2006 and sent her home. She also said, it wasn't Mahesh Bhatt but Anurag Basu, who gave Kangana a break as claimed.

Somewhere in July, Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Pooja Bhatt took a dig at Kangana by sharing an old video from the Filmfare awards night where she was seen attributing her award to the Bhatts. Responding to her tweet, the Panga actress wrote on her Twitter, "Pooja ji Kangana is thankful to Vishesh films fr launching her but she wants outsiders to be treated better, She is thankful that her ex broke up with her but she wishes it ws done respectfully, She feels fortunate to fnd success in world run by men but she wishes patriarchy ends"
