Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan showed a lot of potential when she made her much-awaited debut with Kedarnath in 2018. She had taken the nation by storm with her versatile performances as she essayed the role of Shagun in Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba. She was adored a lot by the netizens as well as the critics, as they were sure she would become the next big thing. However, their hopes and dreams came crashing down as she delivered movies that didn’t do well at the box office. Now as she is all set to return with two OTT projects Ae Watan Mere Watan and Murder Mubarak, the actress opened up about how she was treated differently.
In her recent interview with Bollywood Life, the 28-year-old actress recalled the entire experience of being treated differently by people that adored her, after her movies flopped. She went on to state that she still remembers the love and appreciation she had received from the audience, the media, and her industry acquaintances during her debut year. However, their attitude towards her changed overnight. Sara explained that even though she wants all her films to work, she is getting accustomed to the downfall as success and failure are a part of love. Shedding light on how everyone’s attitude towards her changed after her films flopped, quoted by BollywoodShaadis, the Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actress adds, “I remember what 2018 felt like, I felt like I am at the top of the world. I have never seen a love like that before, and then I was brought down like this! Overnight, people used to treat me differently at the dinner table. On the work front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Laxman Utekar’s Zara Hatke Zara Bachke opposite Vicky Kaushal. She is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming OTT films Ae Watan Mere Watan and Murder Mubarak. She has Anurag Basu’s Metro... In Dino in her pipeline. The movie is a multi-starrer, boasting amazing talents from the Hindi film industry.
