It's the same story with Dangal too. We hear, the actor, who is playing Mahavir Phogat in the biopic, will be shooting crucial scenes in a mud-based akhada in Haryana that was actually frequented by the wrestler himself.
Such akhadas were typically found in states like Punjab and Haryana back in the 1970s. Co-incidentally, the film also starts in that era.
"The akhada scenes are a part of the second schedule for which Aamir will shed the kilos that he has piled on right now. He will undergo three months of rigorous training, focussing on his thighs, arms, chest and shoulders. He will sport the loin cloth that wrestlers wore while fighting it out in the ring," says a source close to the actor.
To get all his moves right, Aamir has been training in dhobi pachaad with a team member of the national wrestling squad for months now. And where does he train? At a sports academy in Kandivali.

Yes, Aamir has been frequenting the sports academy in the suburbs and spends long hours training there.
So you know where to go if you want a glimpse of the actor.
